At this first level of partner participation, the partner is expected to: identify prospective customers, provide initial sales information, coordinate all sales activities with the customer and SMSI, work with the appropriate SMSI Regional Manager to perform on-site or live web presentations and expedite the sale of the SMSI system. The reseller will be enabled and trained to provide a high level of pre-sales service and support to all sizes of contact center environments with a minimum investment.
There is no minimum sales quota to meet at this level. SMSI will provide most sales and marketing resources the partner requires to complete the sale. On-going training is provided as needed. A partner licensing agreement is required.
Preferred Channel Partners typically resell other complementary technology and rely mainly on SMSI to provide post-sales implementation, technical support and maintenance. SMSI is extremely flexible in the manner in which we structure these partnerships and can typically work within their corporate guidelines.
